Genital autonomy advocates from across the country will hold a peaceful protest outside the San Diego Convention Center during the 2014 American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference & Exhibition. Some of the doctors attending this conference continue to violate medical ethics and the human right to bodily integrity by forcing genital modifications upon male and intersex children. Protest signs will be available or you may bring your own. There will also be literature available for participants to distribute.

Bay Area Intactivists will hold a peaceful protest outside the Moscone Center during the ACOG 63rd Annual Clinical Meeting to confront those who force genital modifications on healthy male, female, or intersex children. All forms of unnecessary genital alteration violate medical ethics and the human right to bodily integrity when performed without the informed consent of the patient.

21st Annual Genital Integrity Awareness Week Demonstration

Intactivists from around the world will demonstrate and educate on the West Lawn of the US Capitol from March 24 until March 30 as part of the 21st Annual Genital Integrity Awareness Week. On Saturday, March 29, intactivists will march from the West Lawn of the US Capitol to the White House to raise awareness that over one million children are subjected to forced genital cutting each year in the United States.
